I agree with going without the braces. I was worried about flex but it pushes up against the padding when locked in place and tv doesn't weigh much. We keep a playstation2 behind the tv but it would be nice to have more room for that and the Apple TV.

Forgot to post a follow up on my warranty claim with IMTRA. They shipped replacement antennas for the TV and radio without delay. I am getting ready to order zincs for this season. Can anyone tell me if the engines have anodes? i had a marine mechanic look and he was surprised not to find them. My boat is is equipped with 350 mag horizons with V drives.

Just spoke with Terry and he is sending an RA number by email. Keeping my fingers crossed they approve the replacement. Radio antenna is really bad. Glomex dome is pitted and can't be cleaned. Hopefully reception will improve on both units.
