It’s on my to-do list. It’s been there a long time because I’ve read it is a PIA. If you do remove it, I’d very much recommend replacing the plastic door rollers and plastic tracks. They are prone to failure. Mine are shot - hence why it is on my list. If you do remove, please post where all...

    removing carpet

I did both. I built a new hatch out of 3/4” and 1/2” ply laminated (glued) together as my supports where low to accommodate carpet on the underside. I then placed the new hatch in the location and framed it with 1 1/4” x 1/4” poplar strips. I used paint sticks to shim them around the hatch and...

    removing carpet

I did my floor on my 330EC a few years ago. The old carpet was not terrible to get out, but it did leave quite a bit of the adhesive behind. (Nothing a orbital sander can’t handle quickly). if replacing with carpet it would not have been a big job. I used a glue down teak pattern vinyl...

Here ya go. Not my rig these are from a 340AJ at my marina. The captain had the fish box out so I snapped some picts. (Mine is a “bit” cleaner down there).

I’ll get some pictures. Seacock, pump, piping, etc. if not this weekend, I’ll grab them next weekend. While at it you could install a raw water wash down too. My boat has both a fresh water spigot and a raw water spigot. We use the raw a lot.

If your boat has a raw water wash down, the the sea cock for the live well would be position next to the wash down sea cock on the port side of the boat. Both are located under the fish box in the the centerline area of boat. I can get you a picture in next week or so. I have to trouble shoot...

I’m around 1100 hours and still running 25/40. I’ve been considering the switch myself - a lot of guys at my marina run it.

if you remove the seats the the floor opens up into the radar arch (w/o having to mess with piano hinge). I know gassers can be removed. I assume the Cats would come out too, but not certain.

try turning the dash switch off and on about a dozen times. Mine was corroded (contacts) and that solved the issue.

I think the breaker is under the cabin stairs near the DC switches. It might be near there? Will be at the boat this afternoon. I can look around.

does your fluid smell burnt? Many recommend just leaving it alone if it is not burnt. There’s a bottom drain but it would be challenging to get to. You should be able to suck it out the dipstick hole. If you haven’t already I’d scratch a line on the dipstick to represent full fluid level...

reservoir is on the inside transom wall. You have to lift out the fish box to access it. It is square black and clear plastic and should say Bennett on it. If you are low all you have to do is add fluid and keep raising and lower tabs until air gets out of lines. You have to remove the clear...

sure you have fluid? I just rebuilt my actuators because they were leaking pretty good. If you run low on fluid you will get air in lines and they will not work.

    New Swim Platform

I’ve recored the fish locker lids on my last boat and am pretty familiar with with fiberglass and epoxy work. My platform could a bit of gelcoat work on the one corner (previous owner). I’d have to contract this part of the job. I was hoping new were closer to $3k because I would also like a...

    New Swim Platform

For those of you who ordered new swim platforms, can you give me a rough idea on cost. The platform on my 330EC (13.5’ Beam) has rotten sections of the core. I’m debating a rebuild next winter vs replacement sometime later this year. PM if you prefer. thanks much.
