This stuff is suitable. I ordered a sheet to try it out, but it looks like the right stuff and thickness.

Hi, I looked into this and on the data sheet it is classified as a combustible solid, Not recommended for areas over 110 degrees or where electrical spark is present. So not a good choice for the engine compartment.

Hi, I have a 1999 Searay 260 Overnighter and I am looking for the engine soundproofing foam. Anyone know where to get it? It has to be approved for use in the engine compartment. tracyjel@gmail.com
