IMO, any boat of a certain age is going to have some core moisture in the deck. The fun begins in earnest when it gets into the stringers and transom. If that is the finding, do not walk away, run! You might want to talk to a boat guy about what repairs would cost. Either get it done or hope...

Just took delivery of a 1988 340 EC. The back seat and port side seat in the cockpit are held down with stainless brackets with clevis pins, One half of one of the brackets is missing. I cannot finde these on the internet and, of course, the 1988 parts manual is gone from the Sea Ray site...
