We stopped at your marina in Spanish for the first time last summer. Very nice place. We got fuel, did laundry, and even got a short ride into town to replenish groceries, before anchoring at several spots in the Whalesback Channel. Must be nice to have some of the best Great Lakes Cruising so...
Bobby Mac's docks will not suit your boat. Browns only has a few spots that your boat would fit into and you'd need good timing to get one of those. Brownie's on the Lake in St. Clair shores is a nice spot and normally has plenty of room on the wall to dock. There is also Tin Fish in St. Clair...
You could always have a couple boats stop in St. Clair, one in Algonac, and a couple at Port Huron. Desmonds for sure is a convenient "last stop" before the lake stop. We are heading back to North Channel in mid July (after a hiatus of 7 long years) and were going to stop at PH for gas or...
Mary Ann Cove is our favorite anchorage (besides the Benjamins').

North Channel is for sure our favorite destination. We have some info you may find useful for planning on our website, complete with log, charts, video, etc. Have a great time!!!

You might try St. Clair. Less than two hours from Lake St. Clair. The state harbor will take you by shuttle van just a short road trip across the river to the course. Think the name is Pine Shores. In pretty good shape. Nine holes.
The Tick Tock is back in business... speaking of beautiful boats, that JAWS is awesome!

I had a claim with them last year and was treated promptly and fairly. It was my first and only claim experience and considering it was several $$$, I was pleased with the no-big red tape experience.
Eric - Wow, you covered some ground (water) in those five days! I agree, the Ports Cruising Guide is probably the best reference material - it has the photos, routes, and information needed. And the Well Favored Passage makes for great reading and help with it's chart drawings.
Another great...
