Most critical alarms will be constant and reduce RPM's preventing major damage. I honestly don't know, but there are alot of smart people on this board that might not frequent the "sport boats" section. I'd re-post in the "Gas engines" section and you will get better exposure. Best of luck

We must hang out on the same message boards...Check the drive oil bottle mounted on the engine. When it gets low it will give one quick beep every now and then.

Should be an easy fix. Nothing more than regular maintenance. What engine do you have? If its the 496 I can walk you through it.

I just went through a similar issue and it was indeed the hose coming through the transom. Not sure what kind of boat it is, but I did mine without pulling the engine. Since it's a PITA to install the plastic bushing/retainer I went a different route. Check out the IM654 kit...

I'm curious why you are selling them? Did you have 3x3 originally and upgrade to these? I need to figure out what pitch I need going from 3x3 to 4x3. Thanks.

Ok who can help me understand the trim sender and limit switch. My boat has always "trimmed" (up or down) way too fast. You literally have to do it in 1/2 second bursts and then wait for the gauge to catch up. Usually 2 half second bursts and the trim is past the level (1/2 way on the gauge)...
