    Trailering covered?

I use the original snap cover any time I'm traveling more than a few miles. The covers keep the interior out of the sun and also allow me to pack stuff inside the boat and not worry about it flying out. 9 years later and no issues at all.

Hard starting after changing water separator

Agreed. I will never ever put an empty filter on there again! I was thinking that there was some type of purge valve on the fuel rails, but I couldn't find them (I didn't look THAT hard). Good to know that they are there though, just in case.

I noticed those as well, but couldn't quote them all! ;)

Hard starting after changing water separator

As I said about 4 posts ago, I had already filled the filter and the boat would still not start. I filled the filter completely up and tried starting the boat for a solid hour to no avail. Please read all of the posts before being a smarta$$. Anyhow, I finally got her running yesterday bout...

Hard starting after changing water separator

pump is running like it always has (when first turning key on). Engine will run when shooting gas straight into the throttle body. This is an MPI boat, which is making this more of a hassle. I've changed this filter twice before without filling it and eventually it has always started. Not...

Hard starting after changing water separator

I have filled the filter and turned the key on an off for an hour now, still no luck. Do I just need to keep turning the key on and off? I'm running out of ideas!

Hard starting after changing water separator

I thought about that, and may have to go that route if I can't get it started. The biggest problem with doing this is the mess that I will inevitably make!

Hard starting after changing water separator

I finally got around to changing my oil and water separator this weekend and remembered why I hate changing the fuel filter... it takes me FOREVER to get the boat started afterward! I actually never did get it running yesterday; I ran out of daylight and had to finish some other stuff up...

Anyone running an LED light bulb in their front marker light?

I'm just looking for a replacement bulb. Any idea what number the stock bulb is on the front market lights of our boats? I have the bulb, but it doesn't have a number on it... just a wattage (10w). I have yet to find a 10w bulb with the same base at any store I've looked. I have found...

Anyone running an LED light bulb in their front marker light?

The bulb burnt out in my front marker light the last time we were out after dark, and I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. I started thinking about an LED because that light gets HOT up there, and I am tired of burning my hand. Has anyone put an LED in the fixture? If so, what bulb...

    Corsa Exhaust

The only reason I want a new boat is so that I can get Corsa Exhaust... I can't wait to hear that 350MAG roaring through the open pipes! I suppose that I could add it to my current boat, but no one wants to hear a V6.

High 5 Prop Reviews ( success or dissapointment)

I can over-rev my boat with the high five, but only when it's just one or two people in the boat. If I have more, it isn't an issue.

    maintenance schedule

Where on Lake Travis are you? That is where I prefer to hang out, but with the water so low this year, we haven't been out there since early May. As far as maintenance, I used to take the boat in for the yearly service, but I've done it myself the last couple of years. I have just changed...

High 5 Prop Reviews ( success or dissapointment)

I upgraded to a 19p HighFive from a 19p Vengeance 6 years ago and have never looked back. The hole shot is much improved, most noticeably when I have 6 or so people on the boat, or when pulling up a slalom skier. I did lose some top end, but I pull a skier a lot more often than I run all out...

    Marine Audio Equipment

Don't have the cash to upgrade the whole system right now. I got three seasons out of the first one, but the next two only lasted two each. The remote at the helm has never given me any trouble though. My radio has the 6 pin connector. Can't receive pictures via text, so if you can post...
