Rebuilding a transom is not a task I could undertake myself
Found a 1987 Sundancer 268 in Michigan and had a survey performed. The most concerning finding is the moisture level in the transom. A reading taken on the transom exterior 8" to the port side of the gimbal housing reads 28.7. That seems alarmingly high to me, so I thought I'd ask this group...
Here's another example that fits the description above. I can only guess that in the previous example, a '1' was used when it should have been 'A'? Dunno
