On my 240sundeck I noticed one of my bennett trim tabs had a little bit of oil around the base of the ram the other day. Was wondering if anybody knows how to rebuild it to fix the leak.
Thanks
Erik
I just got a 2006 240 sundeck with a merc 350 with bravo 3 for getting it ready for winter I pulled the plugs and let the water drain out than put in pink antifreeze from the hoses on the tstat including pouring about half gal until it ran out the drive through the water pick up.
my question is...
What prop are you running? Anybody put something different on your boat or what prop did you boat come with? What kind of performance are you getting? Also does anybody have any pictures of where you have put a sub in your boat. Thanks
I found the bulletin thanks. Trying to figure out if I can make the fault beep go away with out losing my trim guage. The beeping is driveing me up the wall. I will probley replace the sender over next winter when I pull the drive.
this isn't the favored solution; but you can override the smartcraft to not show the fault at all. Mine have never worked well; so that part of the alarm is disabled
How do you turn off the alarm I went through the calibration and cant find where you would turn this off. I found how to turn off...
I have a 2005 200 sundeck with a 5.0mpi. When I am underway my smart craft guage will beep and say trim fault. It normally only does it when I am on plane dosnt matter where I have the trim set to. I tryed recalibrated it and it didnt help. Where do I go from here.
Thanks
Erik
On my last few boats I have just used a switch and not a ACR. I am use to useing the 2nd battery as a back up or a jump start if I need it. I was thinking maybe get a two bank charger and tape the ends off of the 2nd bank for the time being but not sure what the charger would do to the one that...
New boat dosnt have a charger and I am looking to add one. Right now I only have one battery but soon what to add a second. If I buy a dual bank charger what should I do with the extra two wires for now? Looking at a two bank ProMariner charger.
Thanks
Erik
