Can you give me some information on your fuel burn per hour at normal cruising speed at what rpms and your engines? Also, what was your top end? Thank you.
Does anyone out there know anything about the 34 foot Sea Ray Sedan bridge produced during the early 1980s or so? For example, original cruising speed with two engines, structural integrety compared to today's Sea Rays, good traits, bad traits, etc.?
Thanks for your help. :smt038
Sorry, all. We had a great time watching the fireworks in DC. Rented a great slip. Had great company. Over all, just a great, great great time. :smt038
Just on the generator question:
While there might be some outside factors such as a seller being willing to install a generator or an arrangment where the seller and I would split the cost of installing one, I would not look at a boat that did not have the appropriate sized generator.

We have maybe 6" or 8" on each side to work with, about a fender width. The fairways are also tight. One of the keys is to line it up right and focus on where you want to go, not on the boats next to you.
If you can dock at our place, you can dock anywhere.
From your description and if I understand what you are saying correctly, the exact same thing happened to us on our 280. Two beeps every 60-90 seconds or so. For a couple of days, the techs connected any gauge they could think of to the engine. Nothing. The boat ran fine during testing but...
If I am incorrect I am sure someone will tell me: I think it is a mistake not to tie the anchor line off on the cleat. We take some pretty good tugs owing to the wind and wakes of other boats. I would prefer the force stop at the cleat and not at the winch.
I have retrieved the anchor by hand when the winch went down. Crazy about having to do it again, I am not. Using the winch makes things so much easier.
The winch we had came with the boat. I have no idea how much it costs to install one.
A cleat is our first choice. However, tides, the particular dock, etc. may not make this practical. We may have to hang a fender from the the rail or anything else that seems reasonable. I would like to use fender boards but I cannot figure out where to store a 6 foot long piece of wood on a...
