It's actually a ton of fun, but you have to know how to ride in those conditions.
The trick (to save your back from the bone jarring) is to clear clean air and land stern-first. You have to time it out and know how to manipulate the sled at the wave crests, but you'd be surpised how soft you...
Resurrecting this old thread to show off my sled.
In 2012 we bought a Kawi 300X, which at the time, was the biggest baddest sled out there at 300 HP. Put ~200 hours on it over the next decade. In 2022 it blew a piston. I am on the website Greenhulk and learned that 200 hours is a normal...
This. There is a process called subrogation that allows the insurance companies to recover from one another in the event of third-party culpability.

The boat only has one set of chocks that I can find, so we am likely going to have to buy another set.
Should I go to TNT or is there an aftermarket source?
Started cleaning out the new-to-us boat and found a couple things that I cannot identify.
What is this?
First guess was a boarding bar, but it doesn't fit in the obvious holes. Second thought was an emergency rudder steering bar assembly (looking at the heavy-duty cogs on one end), like you...
