How hard should I punch the mechanic?

Yeah, that's the part that I think was a bit of a tap-dance. Some things fall under "common f'ing sense". I could see them not automatically disconnecting the batteries, or not putting fenders/lines away themselves, but the plug is just elementary.

How hard should I punch the mechanic?

First off, I just wanted to say I looked it over today and I don't think there was any damage done. When I initially saw the situation, I went into "OMG" mode and immediately drained the water, not thinking about taking pictures/etc. Stupid, I know. However, the water didn't cover the stringers...

How hard should I punch the mechanic?

Well, I've been stewing on this one for a while, and it's time to figure out what to do. I'm selling my boat, so I moved it to a new marina in a more active boating region with a decent brokerage, but it's now several hours from my house. After dropping the boat off in November, I wasn't able to...

No. They weren't re-tried. The original judge failed to follow the mandatory minimum sentencing guidelines. There's a reason they are called "Mandatory" - he overstepped his discretion. The appellate court fixed his error. Now, the justness of mandatory minimum sentencing is a different issue...

Tired of the exhaust noise.... Again!

I'll let him know. But as long as his run is no longer/more complex than mine, it's hard to see how the backpressure would be an issue - we have the same generator.

    Too many transducers?

From the factory, I'm pretty sure the smartcraft transducer is on the starboard side.

Tired of the exhaust noise.... Again!

A guy at my marina has a 330 with the same generator/muffler as mine, but his exhaust is MUCH louder. The only difference between our generator setups is the location of the generator - mine is towards the cabin bulkhead, which means there is a long hose with several bends between the muffler...

I hate Fedex, USPS, UPS, China Post

Sadly common with 3rd party sellers on Amazon. They generate a shipping label, which gives you the tracking number, but then wait a few days to actually send the package. Some of them might only get the packages to the shipper once a week, even if they created the label 5 days ago.

    Garmin 740s Cuts Out

Just remember that the instruction manual doesn't know anything about your particular boat. I figured that bow rise while on plane was throwing my transducer off, so I angled it further back to attempt to keep it level while cruising. Never worked. On a whim, I angled it a bit forward and it...

    Garmin 740s Cuts Out

I have a 540 that is doing the same thing. Out of warranty, of course. I'd be interested in hearing what happens with yours. It also had an issue with the depth losing lock, and simply adjusting the angle of the transducer worked for me. You may have to play with it a bit to find the right...

    Westerbeke Genny raw water

Any external pressure on the water entering the cooling system. You can gravity feed from a bucket, "flow feed" by just having the hose in the strainer and letting it overflow, but any time you apply hose pressure to the system (using a flush fitting, for example), you are at risk.
