    I am considering making a move on this boat which appears to be fresh...new rebuilds documented on 454 Mags spinning Bravo 1's. Boat is clean with dockside/shore power A/C...no generator. I'm guessing $14K~ $16K. Was there a generator option on this boat? Anyone have any experience with this...

    Jitts, If your pivot bolts are not corroded it will go fairly well. Just take your time and use your head and you'll get through it.

    OK...engine is out, gimbal assembly with new exhaust and shift bellows as well as new gimbal bearing is installed.We ran the engine on the floor while it was out, changed the plugs, oil, filter, power steering hoses, rebuilt the Q-jet and set the timing. the engine is going back in tomorrow...
