Snapshot

I know this is a dumb question but can the Air Conditikning system be run off shore power or does generator have to be running to intake water to cool the system? I've had this 300 since last Sept and basically had everything done to it since I bought it and want to make sure I don't do something wrong. Manual is of no help. Is it just a matter of clicking over to shore power and then clicking AC and AC convertor switches to use. Nobody at my marina gives me the same answer and generator mechanic couldn't answer.
