The fuel tank sender unit is accessible under the stern table mount plate. Remove the plate and you'll see the fuel tank sender mounted right below that opening.

That would be easier to wire, but it wouldn't accomplish what I want to do, which is have a dedicated start battery and a dedicated house battery and only have to turn the switch between Off and On.

Apparently the local dealer has the replacement part for $120. Not sure it's worth it for that.

2 yrs ago Great Lakes quoted about $1k for the camper top for my 2000 240 SD. They had the matching colors for the sunbrella tonneau covers I already had. You install the snaps onto the cover to match your existing snap locations.

Can't hurt to try to adjust the lipstick on the old pig before I buy a brand new rig.
