I don't have strainers, and just rebuilt sea water pump. Replaced sensor and now reads 180 at idle. That's not a problem though. I think I'm gonna tear pump apart again.

I do this on my boat, with a 2KW inverter, I run for 10 minutes max, and continue to run 10 min. after shutting off A/C.

My 94 270 Dancer temp gauge will go from 150 (normal) down to 100 and back up to 150-170 with in 3 seconds, sometimes it bounces higher and sets off my high temp alarm. Already replaced Sea water pump and impeller, thermostat, risers. Now I'm thinking sensor is NG?? Any suggestions?

I use a shop vac to suck the pink through my AC system, simple and quick, just keep the strainer full.

It says 12V DC. Where are you getting power for it?

I run one of each, deep cycle and starting. I only run one battery at a time and switch between the two. 1 on odd numbered days, 2 on even. Running on both can damage a good batt. if other has a bad cell. I've not had a problem in many years.

Try jumping switch terminals with screwdriver with key on, new doesn't always mean 'good'. Could be wiring is off, too.
