I have a 1987 sea ray 390 EC
It has the standard black double rocker switch to control the tabs, along with the bennet auto tab controller (i will attach pics of both)
My question is im in the process of remodeling the dashboard/helm area and i want to replace the trim tab double rocker switch...

I checked all the connections, they all look good, loosened and re tightned them to be safe but no luck, same symptoms, red light is on during start and run and no activity from the unit itself
There is nothing happening with that unit, the orange light on the panel is lit up on start mode and run mode but the unit itself isnt making a single noise not even trying to turn on. No fan no compressor nothing!
but the aft unit is working normally and my water flow through the two thru hulls...
I have a 1987 390 EC. Im having a issue with the forward air conditioning system. Last night while i was sleeping it basically stopped working. The breaker never tripped on the main panel but the fan is not blowing, the compressor is not running and the weird part that i hope will help...
I just snaked the wire through the silicone and it went fairly easy
if u try ripping some of the silicone around the outside of the hole u will see the best spot to try to go through then just reseal with silicone
if this doesnt work makng a new hole shouldnt be a problem just reseal it and u...
No signal loss via speaker wire i used 10ga wire though.......
little bit of a PITA to snake the arch but not a big deal
bus bars do NOT have enough power for a amp
definitley need to run wires to the batteries
silicone comes out easy enough just replace it with GE silicone I from home depot
