    OK There are no inlet hoses. They must of been removed. I did not see a hose when looking behind the housing and I was able to turn the housing enough to get my finger on the side where the hose would be connected.

    I will check on that. I want to say it's still connected as I remember a hose inside capped off by the housing where the water would come from the drive. I also remember someone telling me that the impeller and plate hold or should I say help hold the carrier seal in place.

    Bad Santa for telling you what is under the tree. I agree that you would want the cp390i in a more direct line of sight. I would also look at the cons to putting it down there. For me that would be not being able to see the gps and where i'm going at the same time when I chart into an unknown area.

    PROPer Prop Size??

    I have a 1987 268DA weighing 5485lbs with a mercruiser 350 V8 260HP w/ Alpha One OD Running a mirage SS 15 3/4 X15P. At WOT rpms show 3900. should be around 4200-4600 WOT. I usually run with 50gal of fuel normally me myself & I. What prop would get me in the 4200-4600 range or am I nit picking???
