According to the Merc tech this is what it's supposed to be doing. The other drive that is just dribbling must have some debris blocking the drain hole.
I had a small amount of oil come out the weep hole on my A1 Gen2. I split the case and replaced the carrier seal and shift shaft housing assembly. This involved removing the water pump housing. I also did the water tube as it had a hole in it. I did not replace the water pump seals nor impeller...
The leak seems to be right at the rear but at the floor to base sections. It appears to have a black gasket in between.
I was just asking before I tore into it.
It's an electric head. I think a vacu-flush but not sure. Stock 96 Sea-Ray 290 sundancer.
Electric motor on the backside base of the toilet and a push button switch to flush on the sink wall.
Last time out it would suck everything down fine and quick but would fill no water back in...none. Not...
I talked to them today and they said they had a cancellation right after I ordered mine. Unfortunately, I can't pay for it until someone pays me for something they bought...lol.
But it is boxed up and ready to go.
I'll certainly take advice on what to do. It's going to my buddies house about 30 miles away. He has a tractor to offload and that's where we will put it on.
I have no way to offload it here at my house if it comes off a semi by hand. I'm not sure what the carrier will have to offload with and...
I know, I read that a long time ago.
It just caught me off guard that they have it ready in a week. I was just wondering if this is their way of collecting payment before it's actually ready or did they collect payment and ship it right out???
Who has ordered from them and when did you pay and finally receive the platform?
I ask because I ordered a swimdeck from them last week and was told they where 4 weeks out...well, they call today and left a message that it is ready. They want payment and a shipment address.
That's cool and all...
The factory ones are metal and plated. I pulled mine off by tapping a chisel under each end. They pull right up. Then paint thinner to dissolve the left over adhesive.
I bought the ones off Ebay. I think they where $80 shipped for both sea-ray and the wave in chrome. They are plastic now but...
The transom assemblies are higher than a single and need more room so they notch out the rear portion of the mounting surface of the platform.
I'm not real sure how that makes a difference but that is what I was told. I'll get a better idea when I get it up against the boat.
