I went from a 44DA w. conventional clutches and throttles to a 48DA w. the ETS - it took me a short amount of time to learn the "short throws" that another posted above, and once you get the hang of it is actually easier!
I spent a long time searching for a replacement NorthStar handset before breaking down and buying a new complete unit. The very few I found (a year ago), upon investigation, had the same problem I was having (broken cord, could receive and not transmit). Unless you have a strong handheld as a...
Thanks - I have been in touch w Rusty briefly - he was doing his recon on the hull # itself, like you said very busy right now so still awaiting his conclusions but initial thoughts on boat and CATS were, as you said, positive.
Thank you. Out of water survey was done w extra attention paid to any voids or delamination as I know other late model boats (510 in my Marina) had big issues - nothing was noted. Rest of boat will be done next week, boat had very little warranty history. Any specifics you may have heard of that...

2680 is spot on. Check the smartcraft for load - before I retooled props rpms were spot on but load was light, impacted speed and fuel burn.

Watch the area around the tappan zee - charted buoys may be moved for construction. Also watch for barges under tow and anchored in channel. I was advised back in May when I did the trip it was no wake approaching the construction zone until safely on the south side.

My 03 formula with 496/bravo 3's had that adapter and I was advised by dealer at delivery to not run boat if using that adapter to flush while boat is in water. The drives in full tilt position were still below water line so running the boat would have defeated the purpose as still sucking water...
