Thankyou. Yes, she's a little hotrod. With the 350 Mag she leaps on to plane. I was reading all the posts about Smart Tabs and was wondering if they'd help on this boat, before I drove it. They might help with the ride but the boat definately needs no help getting out of the hole. I've seen 52.4...
Thought I'd finally show off my latest boat. I bought it last fall after finding it on Craigslist. It's an '06 200 Select. It's pretty much loaded including Merc 350 Mag, Corsa Captains Call Exhaust, Sport Tower, Dual Batteries, and Upgraded Stereo. It only had 35 hours on it and is in excellent...
I was wondering the same thing for my 200 Select. The tower is pretty high. It would be cool if the standard convertable top and curtains would set up under and inside of the tower. All the snaps and attachment points are on my boat. Anybody try this?
Thanks for the input. I put some aluminum railings on my home deck last year. I cut the pieces with a carbide toothed wood blade on a miter saw. It made really nice cuts in the aluminum. I figure a steady hand with a skill saw might do the trick on the seat posts.
Thanks. Any suggestions on the best method to cut down the post? I will probably leave the base and post mounted in the boat. I'm thinking a sawsall or skill-saw.
Getting ready to do some boat projects before boating season begins. I think the seat heights are too tall on the front seats of my '06. I would like to get a little lower for windshield protection and comfort. I was wondering if anyone has tried cutting down the pedestal. I haven't tried taking...
Thanks for the info Julians. This is my 3rd boat and I've never had a clamp corrode and fail. I'm a freshwater boater, are you in a salt enviroment? The other stuff isn't unusual with the pounding boats can take. The other day I took a phillipshead screwdriver around the entire boat and snugged...
Thanks for the responses. I won't be able to get a pic of the brackets for a few days. The brackets have 4 studs coming thru them with nuts to secure it. The best I can tell is the studs must come thru the base board of the padded engine cover. The underside of the board is covered/finished with...
Hi Guys. I bought a barely used '06 200 SEL last week. She only had 35 hours and is in excellent condition, so feels like a brand new boat to me. I found only two issues with her so far. Maybe some of you have some ideas on these.
This boat has the full engine cover pad. (no walk thru). The...
