    Racor Problem

I’ve replaced the O rings in both the lid and T handle. That didn’t do the trick. Not sure what else can be done.

Working in the engine compartment - I am getting too old for this

I feel your pain. I'm 6'5", 260 lbs and old as dirt, with a bad back and bad knees. I'm in the engine room of my 440 convertible at least once a week, and it's killing me. My solution, I'm selling the boat. Can't do it any more.

    Racor Problem

My generator's racor (fuel filter) doesn't seem to want to stay full. I check it every time I go out and it's usually an inch or so below full. Any suggestions as to why this might be happening? Caterpillar Air Filter Source?

I have a 1989 440 Convertible powered by a couple of Cat 3208TA engines in need of new air filters. I have found a few, but don't feel that $150 each for paper filters is a good deal. Anyone know of a source offering more affordable options? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

    Sliding Window Weatherstipping

My boat is a 1989. All the rubber around the windows has hardened and is cracking. No leaks, but it does make for some ugly water stains when it rains. I would like to replace with fresh material, and maybe not be scared to open the windows (right now I'm afraid they will start to leak, or...
