    Oil recommendation for 4.3 Mercruiser

    hey all, I’ve recently purchased a 1990 sea ray 180 with 4.3 Mercruiser. It came with all documentation EXCEPT the engine manual. None of the paper work I have on it says what type of oil to use. I’m assuming a good synthetic 20w-50? I’m new to the inboard world. Thanks in advance!

    Also, its a quicksilver 88150a7 control unit. are all the quicksilver trim switches interchangeable? seems like it from the manual that came with the boat, but its a little unclear to me.

    Hi all, new member here. just got the boat about 2 weeks ago. on its maiden voyage, the trim up switch stopped functioning. Trailer button, and trim down work. Took the cover off on the handle and checked connections, all seemed fine and untouched. Checked connections at pump, and all the fuses...
