Dunno.... I don’t have that set up. Get cooler air in your intake and keep your fuel lines away from major heat source like the oil pan. Make sure your engine compartment is able to evacuate the hot air adequately.

Well if you haven’t done tried it.... don’t beat on someone who has!!! Dropping intake air temp and fuel temp Can do great things for performance!! My engine now inhales much cooler outside air and my return fuel line isn’t right next to the hot oil pan!!! So now my engine isn’t breathing 140+...

Well it sure doesn’t run the same as it did before!!! And that is my results!! I’d say it’s due to better cooler air being inhaled by the motor!!! Not the hot air it was inhaling right next to the exhaust !!! Say what ya want .... that is my results!!

So I ran mine Saturday after moving the fuel filter and covers from top of engine and cool fuel 2 .... I hooked the seawater hoses back up and ran all day Saturday with no problems... Between that and relocating my air intake (spark arrestor) to the starboard vent area (also opened that up a...

My 99 260 with the 7.4 is new to me but have decided the placement of the cool fuel and filter all suck!!! so basically they try to cool the return line all one or two inches of it then pass the fuel lines to and from the filter right next to the oil pan .... theres close to 190 degrees soaking...
