    Strange drive tilt problem

That’s exactly what I was thinking about as far as the two pumps connecting......that’s why I hoped someone else has been through this.

    Strange drive tilt problem

Have a 2000 Sundancer 290 with twin 5.0 Mercruisers and Bravo 2 drives. All of a sudden, my stbd drive will not raise using either the trim switch OR the trailer up switch. Did some electrical testing and the pump and both solenoids are fine....jumped the raise solenoid on that drive pump and...

Great info, thank you Thornton69. I will re-adjust the linkages first since I don't need to haul it to do so.

Shifting Problem After Wide Open Throttle One Motor Only

Hi All, Strange problem that just popped up this season......First a little back story. 2000 SeaRay 290 Sundancer, twin 350 Mercs with Bravo 2s. Both motors removed for the winter for rebuilding....everything is pretty much new....rebuilt both drives, new shift/throttle cables etc. etc...

2000 290 SunDancer Camper Canvas FIGHT

(It's a Sundancer BTW) Both really good inputs...thank you all. The only way I can get the rear bimini down to the bottom hole is to unclip it from the rear most brackets then adjust....then try to stretch the bimini enough to put the pins back in those brackets. The only reason I was thinking...

2000 290 SunDancer Camper Canvas FIGHT

Yes, we did fold up the bimini which allowed us to goto the bottom hole....the only problem then is in order to get that rear leg back into the bracket I feel like I'm going to rip the canvas in half with the amount of pressure I have to apply. AGREED with Ididntdoit, CANVAS SUCKS!! That's why...

2000 290 SunDancer Camper Canvas FIGHT

Hi All, Bought a new to us 2000 290SD last year and spent most all of last season sorting out bugs here and there, mostly engine related. Now this season we should hopefully be able to enjoy it a little before we swap for something different next season :-) So, the boat came with a brand new...

    Cushion Removal 290 Sundancer

I have a 2000 290 Sundancer and I need to remove the vertical cushions for the port side chaise to have them redone this winter. I'm not sure how they come off, they appear to be attached quite securely so I am assuming the bolt through the fiberglass???? The back side of the fiberglass is...

    Upgrading from RL70 Options

Yea, that makes the most economical sense I guess. So if I upgraded it would have to be EVERYTHING, antennas etc? That's what I figured. Thanks for the advice.

    Upgrading from RL70 Options

Hi all, have a new to me 2000 290 Sundancer. It came with an older Raytheon RL70 chartplotter/Radar and enclosed array dome. There are no chart cards in the machine but everything else appears to be functioning. I was contemplating upgrading the system but I really don't want to put a ton of...

    290 Sundancer Door Roller Repair

Hi Jeff, Yes I do have the manual, but it doesn’t specify what height truck and it doesn’t list any train either. UPDATE.....I went to the boat and did some investigating and low and behold I found part of the old train with one truck still attached that was way back inside under the helm. I...
