Head Dorr Latch Spring Broken - Soutchco Mobella Parts?

The little spring (similar to below but has hooks on end) that pushes the tab out broke and cant find the part. Spoke to Southco and FP marine and basically have to buy a $115 handle set to get $0.50 spring. Anyone have any ideas? I've looked far and wide.

Does anyone use one under a Bimini or do they put out too much heat above and would damage it?

    Unbelivable Engine Survey

Why don't you have Cat dealer (not a certified 3rd party tech) change the oil, then put 10 hours on the boat and take another sample.

LED Cockpit Bulbs (I know, GROAN!)

Bart - lights look great. Hard to tell from pic but is there a lot of glare from the ones mounted down low? Are they too bright to look at?

    Looking for a new Anchor

22# Delta plow with 15-20 chain is more than sufficient and already upsizing one. Chain is key to how well an anchor will hold. A 14# with sufficient chain would be fine in most situations. The 35# is overkill particularly if you dont have a windlass.
