I am only 5’11” and I looked at several 320’s before I purchased my 2004 340. I don’t remember the arch being anywhere near my head so it may be worth checking out the 320 as I think you will be ok.
The flip up seat and entire helm arrangement from 2002 and later is way better so I thing you...
I can’t help you much in that area, but marina’s in the Charleston area are pretty full. There are some available depending on boat size, wet vs dry slips…..I know slips in Jacksonville,FL are getting difficult to come by so the Bluffton to Savannah area may be difficult as well. Wet slips for...
Tim,
I have been looking to replace my non-operational XMD3 with a Fusion unit after recently purchasing my 2004 340, but if I can pick up a used unit I may go that route.
I sent you a message with an offer.
Thanks,
Richard
I would walk away from this boat.
However, if the seller make an offer you can’t pass up and it leaves you a lot of room for repairs, check out Dryboat. A lot of times, they can remove hatches and pump a resin under the outer fiberglass to fill the void and add strength back to the structure...
I believe I looked at that boat at Matthews last year. White hull and originally from New Jersey and yes, no generator. I can't remember the engines on that one.
Oil samples should be $50 each so I would think maybe it's $250 for all five fluids?
If that is the 2004 on brokerage at Harborside, it looks like a clean boat. Updated fridge in the cabin and cockpit and it appears to be well maintained. I'm in Charleston and just closed on a 340 last Thursday. I looked at several Sea Rays in HHI, but not this one in particular as I wanted a...
You should verify, but you probably have 4 blade 18 x 21 and 18 x 21.5 props on 1.5” shafts. That’s what may 2004 340 with 8.1S Horizon engines came with.
I’ll second that FP sugesstion.
I was looking to replace the old gold with silver and FP Marine, Flounder Pounder, carried them. I think it’s 5/8 or 3/4” sizes.
Not cheap, but nothing is anymore and it’s good to have some spares.
I could see $10-15,000 easily, but even if we put $50K into it, we would be at $50K all in.
Seller quickly received another full price offer at $28,000 and refunded my deposit so the search is back on. This one just wasn’t meant to be.
Long time lurker and I’ve read all posts to gain as much Sea Ray knowledge as possible. I’m looking to buy a Sea Ray for a little local cruising for my wife and I. I’ve owned several boats and jet ski’s with largest being 35’ Carver express cruiser with twin 454 inboards. All freshwater so...
