Ok i'm buying a 1999 searay 270da sundancer and it says this boat is 7,500 dry soo sounds like i'd need a vehicle that can tow close to 10,000 lbs...I'm not planning on towing this i've got a slip at a marina already setup...but i'd like something that could tow it as a "Just in case"

Yup as far as a know i.e. the boat was dropped off saturday night i went to go look at it sunday morning the dealer said the owner left all the doors and windows open and that they will clean it up before i pick it up...the boat was floating when i went to go check it out today...looked good to...

Ok went to look at the 99' 270 sundancer today...looked really good 225 hours on the motor no Generator but it has a windlass and A/C so maybe if it comes down to it i can carry a gen on board and it did have the bravo III no fishfinder or radar tower in these models so we'll see...seemed pretty...

Ok i'm looking into buying boats now...mostly have to take out a loan and am looking around the 40k mark...and as far as i can tell NO ONE offers any kind of warranty on used boats
My biggest fear is i but said boat for 40k and within the first week the boat sinks on me...i'd be out the 40k...
Ok looks like thinkgs have changed...the 1997 270 was sold right from under me...now its between the 1995 290 or a 1999 270...the 99' only has about 100 hours on it so i'm probly going to go for that...is there anything i have to worry about with this model or year?
