    RM E`120 chart card

Figured this out incase anyone is wondering. You have to buy the Navionics update card which is blank for $179. Then you use the existing card to activate the new card using a USB Card reader. Once the new card is activated, you select the charts you want and they get downloaded to the new...

    2007 44DB

Just got your messages this morning. I listed the boat with a broker 2 days ago. We are taking it to Kent Island tomorrow. The broker will be showing it during the Kent Island Expo going on this month.

    RM E`120 chart card

Seems Like Garmin is no longer providing E120 compatible CF cards. What is everyone doing to buy charts for these units? Has anyone tried buying Navionics+ on a SD card and using a SD to CF adapter? Thanks

    Buying and selling private

I agree. I just listed mine in the classified here, but if I still have it in a month, it’s Going to the broker. Advantage for the buyer of selling without the broker is that 10% can go to the buyer.

I am up against some medical issues that are preventing me from working on the boat and I’m having a hard time finding any reasonably qualified service where we base in Crisfield, MD. We bought the boat in FL last summer and brought it up the ICW with no issues. The boat runs great, oil and...

    Refinishing Salon Table

Mine is solid Wood. The top appears to be a burlwood style veneer. I just got done refinishing it. I stripped it to the wood by sanding then applied about 6 coats of varnish. Be careful with the sander once you close to the wood. The veneer is fairly thin and if you use a course sandpaper...

Self Checkout---Like 'em or hate 'em?

Depends on how it’s set up. I like them if I can just scan, pay and go. We never use the one at the grocery store because it requires that you scan and place the item in the bagging area. If you put it back in the cart or scan faster than the computer can keep up, which is usually the case...

    Winterizing again

The reason they stoped calling it global warming and went to climate change is because they had a hard time explaining winter.

We also removed the bed. You’ll have to unscrew the sofas and get them away from the wall to get to the frame upholstery. From there you could take the whole thing to the shop or remove the upholstery and have the shop make new pieces. Only reason I’m doing it myself is that I can’t find...

The sofas don’t look too hard to remove. I’m planning on recovering the 2 sofas. I can either take the sofas to the sewing machine are take the sewing machine to the boat. Since the bulk of the project and most of the sewing is the cushions, they can easily come to the shop. The sofa...
