We love our '88 230CC. I have the7.4L and it's not as bad as we thought it would be on fuel. It takes constant TLC. I'm attempting to redo the teak now.I had to replace ALL electrical components and rebuild the carb. Has the boat been maintained or was she sitting ?

Hey Chuck, I've got power steering fluid leaking from somewhere.When I fill the pump resevior its gone fast. A mechanic told the wife we needed a pump. I think the pump is fine, we have a hose leaking.I can't tell from where though. Do you know how to check a pump? any suggestions ? Ric

Have you checked the fuel line where it comes directly out of the tank ? I had the same problem and the screen was clogged at the tank.

Does anyone know how to remove the interior panel over the engine in a 88' 230 cuddy. I believe I have a bad starter and the only way to access the bottom of the engine is to remove the interior panel around the engine. I can't seem to access the screws at the top part of the panel. They are...
