There is a little button (safety switch) on the edge of the counter top. The cook top cover depresses it... It sticks down sometimes and the cook top won't go on... Look for it, clean it, and push it in and out, and your cook top will magically work again...

can't be AF... It has to be Raw Water. Start at the where the water come through the outdrive to your HE and from there back to your exhaust manifolds... I is probably just a hose clamp that rusted and snapped... Double up all you hose clamps on your raw water side...
