My amberjack 290 (same year) has wipers that do nothing to help with rain, way too slow and don't maintain contact with the glass. Totally useless in the rain. I'm going to use rain-x this year.

After figuring out how to contort to change out my shaft seals last year (under the engine as they are v-drives) I feel like I can access anything on these engines!
I haven't been able to find where to drain the coolant out for a drain and fresh refill. Lots of info out there on the seawater side, but not much on the closed coolant side. Mercruiser 5.7 MAG Horizon inboard.

From what I've heard they are completely different but I've never looked closely at the 270. For the 290, you're right there's no table built in. I personally prefer this and we have some folding tables that we stow when not using.
Thanks AJSB. I confirmed it's coming from the water heater pressure valve as you said. Weird thing is that I haven't had the water pump on in a couple of months. Maybe some residual pressure from the last time it was on?
