I'm not familiar with this product but you would not want to put true ceramic over top of wax. Might be ok if this is one of those "ceramic" quick detailing sprays which are hardly the same.
The chart card was in the SD drive when it was trying to add my 8617 again. It never referenced the card at any time and add device just kept making me log in again.

Thanks for the replies. Correct, the 8617's use a separate Garmin card reader which uses SD cards instead of the micros. I'm able to and do perform equipment updates often using Active Captain but from memory, everything syncs but the charts so will have to see exactly what I have this weekend...
