    Rudder indicator

I wonder how vertical does your wheel need to be for the Davis instrument to work?

    Multiple transducers interference?

thank you this is great info. And what you predicted is exactly what I’ve seen happening so far. Good readings on both units 90% of the time and then suddenly the i40 will give a whacky reading for a short period, and then return to normal. I think if I cannot adjust the frequency to prevent...

    Multiple transducers interference?

I recently installed a new Garmin transducer for my new Garmin MFD (943xsv). I still have the older transducer in place from previous device, and it is mounter next to my new one, maybe 12” from it. Out of curiosity I connected a stand alone depth gauge (Raymarine i40) to the old transducer...

    Mirrored Medicine Cabinet Door Replacement

1998 400 DA. Medicine cabinets in both heads have mirrored faces that are aged and deteriorating around the edges. Anyone know of a way to replace or fix. Searched FP Marine and no luck. Wonder if I could just break and remove the glass mirror surface and glue new custom cut ones on but...

    Noflex Digestor for bilge cleaning?

Awakening an old post. Curious after reading this, what the long term determination is on using Oxyclean as a cheap alternative to Noflex?

    Norcold DE0061 Refrigerator

I ordered a Vitrifrigo. Put one in my last boat and loved it. Found it for the same price as the Norcold. Arriving next week. I will need to remove part of the cabinet inside the galley in order to get the new refer through the companionway of the boat. I'll try to post a few in-progress...

    1998 400 Tridata Transducer B&G

Does anyone know the "type" or exact model of thru hull transucer was used on the tridata system. 1998 400DA. My Parts manual lists it as: Transducer Depth Retractable Bronze (B&G) PN: 0947556. I am trying to see if i can make it work with a new Raymarine i40 depth instrument that says it...

Yes, there is a built perforated filter at the trans cooler inlet side. That is where I found all my parts.

    Norcold DE0061 Refrigerator

thanks for the feedback. I agree 100% about life expectancy. Mine is 20 years old, so I am happy it lived this long. I have also never had a problem with Norcold units unless again, they were old and at the end of their reasonable lifespan. But, I was reading reviews on West Marine that were...

    Opinions on Norcold DE0061 Refrigerator

OK. That's what I thought you meant, but wanted to be sure. And I agree. I was ready to just replace with the exact same thing since it served its purpose well for 21 years, and it's affordable, but then all the bad reviews got me second guessing. thanks.

    Opinions on Norcold DE0061 Refrigerator

Sorry Bobeast, but I am confused a bit by your reply. Guessing it's sarcasm. Are you saying the panning that Norcold gets is not justified?

    Norcold DE0061 Refrigerator

I have a 1998 400 DA. Original refer is a Norcold DE0061. It is dead, or at least on its way to to the grave. Looking to replace it. From the reviews I have read I am nervous about putting in another of the same model, and would prefer Vitrifrigo or Novacool, but between Covid-19 and tariffs...

    Anchor/Rafting

As Croc Dundee used to say, "That's not a knife. This is a knife!" I can't take credit for this raft up. My father-in-law and the Northern CA -Sea Ray Boat Club. He started and organized this annual event for years and years. I believe this was their biggest year, or at least close to it.
