Fixed by Mechanic. They said the heat exchanger was full of mud. They used a hose to flush it out. Took about 25 minutes in total. Engine temps are back to normal. 172 degrees at 3000 rpm

I have 2013 sundeck 30 with 8.2 engine. Living on Long Island south shore low water and mud bottoms. 2 times I had to have mechanic come to dock to flush out heat exchanger. Alarm code 157 was registered. Once I suck in the mud the boat temp goes to 186 and goes into protect mode. It happened...

Yes. Do you have any idea of dealer cost to repair/ replace? I know they have to pull boat and remove out drive. Maybe 6 hours of labor + parts?

My 2013 SeaRay 30 foot Bowrider with V8 8.2 liter has developed a delay going into forward of about 4 seconds. Just starting recently. Reverse is fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this. ?

Don’t know what thermostat rating means? Is 172 a reasonable termperture to run at? Is that close to normal?

What should be the standard engine temperature when running? I am showing 172...174 if I can going all out...170 if idiling or going slow. Sometimes If I go from a running speed to stop, engine climbs to 177 and then backs down... 2013 with Original Water pump. Boat only has about 120 hours.
