Did you change the plug wires? Maybe a coil going bad also. Make sure all you cylinders are firing. You can use a timing light to see if each plug is getting spark. Should see a steady flashing of the light.

Found the problem with the power. Crossed plug wires. When I pulled the plugs to read them, cyls. 3 & 5 showed signs of not firing. Checked the wires and found they had gotten crossed at some time during the engine build. Dumb, Dumb.

You may want to check for a vacuum leak if you can not get the idle screws adjusted. You should have two idle mixture screws. They can be below the fuel bowl or in the side of the fuel bowl. The best way to adjust them is to gently screw them in till they stop. Don't force them or you will...
