yes, start with a low cost option if you have not already. Swap out the thimble and disk filter in your cool fuel module, and add a dose of fuel treatment (Merc brand, seafoam, etc). If you have one, a fuel pressure gauge on board will help diagnose a faulty CF module.
A cool fuel module is...
If you truly have DTS, and you should, there is no IAC as the throttle body is digitally controlled. My money is that your cool fuel module is beginning to fail. I had that exact boat but a 2008, and it did the same thing, then the failures became more frequent. It was a failing/then failed cool...
So here we are in 2024 so I thought I would do another update now that the 6th season of use is over And we are headed into the 7th season.
Similar to the last few updates, the boat is holding up better than I originally thought it would. The gelcoat still looks new, but it is covered all...
Copper paints should not be used on aluminum. You could use them on more noble metals, but that is risky. Use a paint that is raw copper free on underwater metals.

In Pa, the driver who causes the accident, if They have insurance, can be made to pay property damages. Typically we file with our carrier and they subrogate. This provides a path to be reimbursed for deductibles, rentals, sometimes diminished value, etc.

Yep. Called my attorney. His advice is to forget that option as well. Chances of collecting are zero and once again there is no recourse if he loses but does not pay.
I hear you. But this will be $2500 out of pocket between deductibles, rentals, diminished value of my truck. I have no recourse at all.
I called the police and asked what could be done, he was driving illegally. They said since there was no one injured, cars were drivable, there is absolutely...
If I thought there was any chance of collecting anything I would. As it stands, I would invest some more money and time pursuing it, would easily win an award, but I bet he has no means to pay. So in the end, I am just out even more.
So I was sitting at a train crossing, 3 or 4 minutes go by. I am in park, foot on the brake so my lights are lit, broad daylight. Reading something on my phone to pass time as it would be another 5 minutes or so. POW - truck jumps forward a foot.
Gather my senses and realize there is a car...
So, a larger pitch prop theoretically will push the boat further with each revolution meaning more speed. But, that is very dependent on hull type, condition, and engine. I would expect a Merc 5.0 on that size boat borders on being a little underpowered. Your max rpm is close to what it should...
