First ride of 2018 on the Rideau River outside of Ottawa, Ontario. Air temp was 87 and water was 59.
The dog was very disappointed that he didn't get to go swimming.

I've seen a bunch on YouTube like that. They seem to work with heavier dogs and I plan to make one for the start of my season on May 1st. My dog is about 70lbs dry but 85 wet. I have a 195 Sport so I plan to roll it up and store it on the swim platform when not being used.

Mine won't be back in the water until April so I was hoping someone in FL or elsewhere might be able to check.
My plan is to mount square tube to the bottom of the swim platform using a waterproof construction adhesive...

I'm planning to rig a sensor to let me know when the ladder is down because I have forgotten it down a couple times and headed to the marina.
Has anyone ever designed, built or purchased a cover for the swim ladder on a 2011 195 Sport?
My dog likes to jump off the back but I'm worried he is going to get his leg caught and then do some damage to bones and tendons.
As far as I can tell this is the ladder I have...
