Yes...I've never had an issue even in very choppy water. I have a fairly large charplotter with 8in. display, and it holds it tight. You can get different sizes of mounts depending on your chartplotter size/weight. You can find more info here...

I have mine mounted on a ram to the side...it works pretty well and I removed it when not in use.

I looked at twins in the 280, but actually found the 496 to be plenty of power. We also went with new in order to get DTS, which is a nice feature. I've had up to 7 people onboard so far and had no issues getting on plane. The boat cruises nicely and economically around 28-32 mph. At 3600...

Same here....we picked up a cushions for chaise lounge patio furniture at Target and they work great. They also roll-up nice for easy storage.

I was thinking the same thing as Bill, as we've racked up 74 hrs on our '09 280 that we only purchased on 5/31/09. I had the 20 hr service done only 3 weeks after picking her up and at this rate, I'll have to have the 100 hr done in the next few! We've been fortunate with a great summer this...
