Whatever the ratio of the drive, if propped correctly you should get the performance. You know it’s propped correctly if you’re getting the desired rpm range at WOT.

Talk to Mercury and figure out if the cool fuel modules have already been replaced. If they have a record of of work done on your boat (give them your engines serial numbers) maybe they can tell you if the fuel rails and injectors have been checked and cleaned as well.

Either a new long block from Mercury or one from Jasper.
It’s for a 2006 Sundancer 260. Obviously a lot less money for the remanufactured Jasper, which is very attractive.
