These wires look to have either been cut or never terminated. I'm not sure if that means anything for this issue or not.

I don't know what this is, but the LED comes on with the 12V radio breaker.

I found these wires not connected to anything. They are a different color than the speaker wires, but they run back into the gunwale near where the speaker wires are...maybe they are spliced into the speaker wires and used to be connected to an amp??

I dug into it yesterday. There was only one amp, which was down below and to the left of the radio location in the breaker cabinet. It was mounted to a board attached to the gunwale. The wire visible in the picture was just a ground and while I could feel a wire on the other side, I couldn't...

Thanks. I saw those when I was in there yesterday. It was my hope that I didn't need to pull that apart, but it looks like that's what I need to do.

I did some digging this evening. The sub is Polk, not JL, so it appears to be factory. The wiring running to it appears factory as well. I removed the sub and hooked it to another stereo and it worked and then hooked a known good speaker up to the wires for the sub and had no sound, so speaker...

I have a new to me 2006 290 Sundancer. As purchased, there was a JL audio subwoofer in the gunwale on the port side. The cabin door when open covers it up (not relevant to my issue, just trying to clarify it's location). My assumption is that this is not OE installed, but regardless it is...

i think I figured it out. The fader turns it on/off and I also found the mute button. The sub which I assume isn’t original isn’t functioning still and I’ve looked all over for controls or an amp that powers it with no success. I’ll probably have to pull it and check it out.

It is a Clarion head unit, but I don't know which model. We just got the boat home this afternoon and it's pouring rain now. I'll check in the morning. It would be awesome if it's something as simple as a fader setting.
