Anyone know where the actual horn is located in a 205 sport? I checked the wire, hard to tell where it goes without taking apart the bundle. Horn stopped working, need to replace it. honking the horn is one of the favorite things about the boat for my 6 year old :)

got call from boat shop today saying they put IR gun on it and it read 175 and they said gauge must be off. Anyone know if there is a difference on brand new engines/boats between gauge and surface temperature? I'm suspicious even at 175. My 30 year old b only runs 2 degrees over even on hot...

picked up a 2006 Sport 205 5.0 mpi took it out and engine temp rises up to 195 degrees. 160 degree thermostat on this sucker. It pumps water out of exhaust when on muffs. got 30 warranty, took it back. service mgr trying to tell me that it's ok as long as it doesn't go above 200. Anyone...

So I'm looking at a 2006 205 Sport. It had a narrow piece of rubber running down the center of the bottom of the boat. Is this some sort of factory optional protector from beach sand and whatnot or is likely hiding some damages like scratches or something. I have not seen this on any other boat.

Hoping someone familiar with this particular generation/model can chime in. Looking at a 2006 purchase. I noticed it's only rated for 1200 lbs. Does that seem low to anyone else for a 20' boot? Anyone know why or had more weight in it then that? Wondering how is it the new models are rated...

Hi there. So does anyone know if any additional infrastructure was added to the 205's that have a tower added at the factory? Just wondering if extra support will be needed to add a monster tower to used 205.
