We took delivery of a 2020 SPX 230 OB a few months ago and sadly it will be time to store it soon. I have a climate controlled storage unit I keep around 50-55 degrees. My question is should I keep the on board charger plugged in all winter or would you throw it on for a few days each month...
Update: Sounds as though Taylor is sending a replacement and boat may be ready as early as one week.
I made it pretty clear I was not going to take delivery until repaired which may or may not have sped the process up.
Although I’ve been happy with the dealer and their timely response I will...
The windshield is solid and my guess is was installed properly. The issue is at the top corner where the front and side meets. The top rail on the outside window is bent up and the black paint of the frame is missing. If I could only figure out how to post a picture from my phone.
I would love to hear from someone who understands how the dynamics of how the windshield is attached. My understanding is it’s simply screwed into the glass. I’m wondering how the replacement gets installed. Screws into the same holes? Screws into fresh glass, what happens to old holes...

I did look at it and it fits most of items on the hit list but I really like the layout of the 230 much better, especially the deletion of the passenger bucket seat and the added sun pad/seat in the aft. The pickiness in me also wants to avoid another black hull which I’ve had before.

Tonka:
Thanks for the input and yes on Tonka. I grew up here and drove charter boats all through college so I've seen just about everything on this lake. Too bad how busy it's become on weekends and we tend to do more during the week and stick to the west end on weekends. I've been...
Unfortunately there are not any 23' O/B boats available in my area. Most of what is ordered here by dealers are still I/O's. They have one SPX 210 with the 200HP but it's sold pending closing so we are not able to demo it.
