You can go through the "glove box" by taking the screws off and removing the door. The combination of the small opening from the cuddy and the glove box helps.

    Leak from Transom plate

More details: The leak is happening when running on the muffs and is comming from the small hole in the middle of the transom plate. In the picture there is a small rust looking hole. Thanks. I replaced the transom seal last winter during transom rebuild.

    Leak from Transom plate

On my last trip I noticed we took on quit a bit of water, looks like there is a "weep hole" on the inside of the transom plate. Is this caused by a leak in the water tube? I currently have the original water tube that is made out of copper. Or is the leak comming from somewhere else...

My Sea Ray Monaco and new long block.

Have you found any other portholes that aren't so expensive? And a couple more pics cause I like to show off the boat when I get the chance. :) http://s881.photobucket.com/albums/ac19/monaco87_photo/Lake%20Pleasant%202010/?action=view&current=LakePleasant032.jpg...

qyadrajet running way rich..how do i fix this?

Over the last year I've been tinkering with my carb, purchased a rebuild kit, mostly because of a bog when hitting the throttle really hard, i.e. pulling up a skier. I found that adjusting the air valves helped a lot in my case, these are the valve/flaps above the actual secondaries. This is...

    Shift/Throttle Lever Question - 1983 210 Cuddy

On my particular model there is a set screw on the bottom of the lever. Mine was an allan head set screw located under the lever (the hole is about 3/8" deep but it's in there. You'll also want to open the face of the lever so you can disconnect the wiring (mine was a flat plastic piece where...

    Motor Q. please answer

Check with Sea Ray and they should be able to help you out. My 1987 has a 260 hp Mercruiser powered by a Chevy 350. For the 87' there was only the option for OMC or Merc and no options for smaller hp. I didn't see a listing for engine on the sales brochures from Sea Ray for your...

    Outdrive Oil Leak

Best of luck to you. I'm a new owner, only had my boat about 8 months. During the winter I replaced my water pump and housing. When I filled it, it started leaking out out of the weep hole. Turned out I used the wrong water pump housing which caused oil to leak around the shaft and out the...
