    Little Egg Inlet - Trecherous??

I have been to Beach Haven a few times, but I’m no expert. The last time I was there was a few years ago. Make no mistakes about it, it's a tough inlet. I tried to only travel it at high tide; not very forgiving at low tide. If I recall correctly, you basically followed the ICW until you pick...

Finally took ownership of the boat today; ran from Jones Inlet to the Manasquan Inlet in 3 – 5 foot sea, head on. She handled extremely well. I think I am going to enjoy this boat. The boat is equipped with a Northstar 952 GPS. Does anyone know the best chip for the Barnegat Bay? I...

Survey was completed today. No real issues to speak of. The biggest issue dealt with false alarms w/ the Smart Craft system. Also, the trim tab wasn't working

Same engine/drive setup here. Bravo III, w/ 5.0 MPI I guess 3400 rpm is the right number.

I took the boat for a sea trial this weekend, it ran flawlessly. Unfortunately, the waters were very calm. The boat has a pair of MerCruiser 5.0L MPI. It seemed to like to run at about 3400 rpm. Does this sound right? No signs of leaking from the starboard port light or the bait well...

Found out about the Smart Craft question online... Seems sweet "What are the features of SmartCraft? Depending on the gauge system you choose (System Monitor, System Tachometer & Speedometer, or System View), you can access: Basic Engine Parameters (Oil Pressure, Coolant Temperature...

You are right; buying a boat is all about compromising. Since you offered, I’ll keep the questions coming. You are being extremely helpful. What is your normal cruising speed and do you know the burn rate per hour at that speed? When you are driving the boat do you need to adjust...

    290 AMBERJACK

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. The boat will be located in NJ, Barnegat Bay. The I/Os will be in the water during the summer season. It will be stored on land during the winter. We plan on using it to cruise around the Barnegat Bay, which can be very skinny. We will...
