Makes me question the service guy's work. he took out 3 brass fittings, 1 plastic wing-nut and said one of them was just a twist on/off kind that wasn't removable.
I just put in a Kenwood KMR-550U, decided to go with the higher models because of extra pre-amp outputs on the back; other than those same as the 350U- awesome CD player.
Just installed a Boston Acoustics 4-channel amp and a Kenwood CD Player. Amp pushes 75W RMS to 4 Clarion CM260 speakers but I'm not getting the quality and loud sound that I was looking for.
The speakers came w/ the boat, searched online but only got limited info. I know they peak at 100W but...
Depends on what you intend to use it for, it's pretty useless for me. I got two amplifiers inside running off the 2nd battery, I'd hate to load the circuit w/ an inverter. Thinking about a small TV/DVD player combo for my daughter to swap it out with. That said most of those can run on 12 Vdc...

Looks like I don't have an inverter installed and the only way to power up is to be hooked to a shore power outlet as you suggested. After thinking about it, there is really no way for a small inverter to power up a Microwave anyways. :-)

mwph - Thank you for the advise, I'll try to be more specific in the future. The trim moves up and down as the switch is depressed, no malfunction; just the gage doesn't show the position of the trim (stuck on 'up' position). Thank you for the suggestions on the fresh water pump.
