Is the boat plug brass or bronze? Manual says brass however brass is no good under the waterline due to corrosion issues? I’m looking to buy a bronze plug light and am wondering about dissimilar metals if I used the bronze plug in a brass fitting.
Thanks Espos4. I did, I was dark outside. I’ve read that the smartcraft lighting is independent from the NAV light switch. But I’ve also read the opposite is true. Wondering if more experienced Sea Ray owners than myself know the answer.
On a 2006 280DA do the Smartcraft engine instruments backlight work off of the NAV lights switch or only the ignition switch? My NAV switch lights up the NAV lights, stern, switch pad backlights, and compass, but I have no gauge lights. Anyone?
Hey everyone! Just purchased a 2006 280DA and noticed the AC drain pan has a light rust film on the entire pan. Can I block the tray sump drain and fill the tray with a non toxic rust dissolver, let sit, and then vacuum out with a shop vac? Anyone try this to remove the rust? I’m planning to use...
