Ironic I just posted the same thing today. My outdrive reservoir is very low. Did this solve your problem I am curious to know?

I did have the boat checked and serviced after purchasing it and they said it checked out great and ran like a top. I guess when I top up the oil and if the alarm goes away then the problem solved. I will then monitor the level regularly to see if it stays at that level.

I upgraded this year to a 2001 Sundeck 210 and man do I love this boat. Towing a skier around behind a 240 sounds pricey though. I had my 2 boys 9-10 tubing last week and it was a blast, plenty of juice towing those young fellas.
