I believe you were referring to the Favicon (Favorite Icon), which was overwritten during the upgrade. The old one has been put back and will refresh in a day or two.

The site should now be backward compatible and work with IE7. Those that were running IE7 and could not see the post date, time, etc (The yellow bar above post), could you please verify. I am using IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Chrome, and the site appears to be correct in all instances now.
