Can you run your boat with the rear canvas on?

So, please excuse the newbie question...but I put up my full canvas for the winter. It has eisenglass inserts in it. As I was zipping up the aft curtain that slopes down to the transom (its not a camper top), I notice this white tag by a zipper that says, 'Not To Be Used While The Boat Is In...

Radar overlay on c80 and seatalk heading compass

Figured it out. I had originally spliced only the yellow into the seatlk connection of the c80 from the st60 compass. I was told by raymarine i needed a separate power feed for the st60 so i had the ground and power of the st60 going straight to a separate ground and 5amp protected power. To...

Radar overlay on c80 and seatalk heading compass

Yes. The fluxgate goes into the raytheon st60 compass. The compass is hooked via seatalk 3 wire connection to my c80. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Radar overlay on c80 and seatalk heading compass

Yes....i know splicing is allowed. I checked all the connecrions...no issues. The c80 just doesnt show the heading. If i go to menu and then compass setup...everything is grayed out and the radar overlay option is also grayed out. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Radar overlay on c80 and seatalk heading compass

Boy oh boy... Its been a long road.... C80 i stalled, radar installed.... Works great! But evidently you cant overlay your radar over your gps without a heading sensor. So i bought a fluxgate heading sensor....st60 compass....and just installed it all. Used seatalk....red, shield...

How to add radar to arch

Yep. The problem with forward lean mounts is if your canvas snaps to the top of the arch, you may lose clearance you need to install it. Especially if its tight and you use the hand tool to do the snapping... This would have been an issue on my 320 so i went with aft lean. Sent from my HTC...

How to add radar to arch

Just completed running a pull string... So here is how I did it in case anyone needs to do this in the future. 1. Pull out the tub thats just above floor level on starboard side of boat. If you are standing at the wheel, its at shin level on right side. Unscrew four screws, break the caulk...

How to add radar to arch

That sounds exactly like my layout. How did you remove the vinyl pad at the base of the arch? Can i just gently pry straight out with a prybar or flat tip screwdriver? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

How to add radar to arch

I just bought the seascan 5 inch aft leaning bracket with a 4 degree tilt. Anyone have any advice on how to run the cable on a 320 through the arch to the helm? I am planning on removing the tub on the starboard side just before the helm and the starboard arch speaker already...

How to add radar to arch

Hello all. 2007 320 da here. Found a 4kw raymarine unit i am planning on mounting to my arch. For those of you that have done this... 1. Do you mount it right to the arch or do you use a bracket? 2. If you used a bracket, what did you use? 3. How do you mount/relocate the light? I...
